Investing in Fuel Cells and the Hydrogen Economy

Top Ten Reasons You Should Invest
Now
in Fuel Cells and the Hydrogen Economy

1. This is the dawn of the greatest Energy Revolution in history. It is the greatest investment opportunity of your lifetime.

2. Oil production is peaking and will begin to decline as the demand for oil is exploding as developing countries like China and India are modernizing and industrializing at an incredible, oil gobbling rate. Goldman Sachs reports that oil prices are in a “super spike” period and predicts oil could go to $105/barrel.

3. Hybrids are not the answer. If all the cars in the United States were miraculously transformed into hybrids today, U.S. oil consumption would be higher than ever in just six years.

4. Hydrogen is ubiquitous on earth. It is not possible for any one people or geographic region to monopolize it.

5. The market for stationary fuel cells, priced at $154 million in 2003, will be $11.4 billion in 2009.

6. All of the major automobile makers are developing fuel cell vehicles and have been for several years. General Motors and DaimlerChrysler have each invested over $1 billion on them.

7. Honda just announced plans to have fuel cell fuel cell cars in showrooms "in 3 to 4 years." Both GM and Hyundai plan to have FCVs in their showrooms in 2010.

8. Fuel Cell Vehicles are environmentally perfect, exhausting only heat and water so pure you could drink it out of the tailpipe.

9. Batteries are a $20 billion/year market. Hand held electronics have outgrown batteries' ability to power them. Micro fuel cells will begin obsoleting batteries in 2006. Demand for micro fuel cells will skyrocket in 2009, reaching 200 million units in 2011, and by 2012, 15% of the all laptop computers will be powered by them.

10. Hydrogen is the most efficient fuel on earth, having the highest energy content per unit of weight (52,000 BTU/lb) of any fuel.
