In August 2003, Astris signed a Letter of Intent with Alternate Energy Corporation (OTCBB:ARGY), a producer of low-cost hydrogen gas. By merging Astris's alkaline fuel cell with AEC's hydrogen production process, they plan to produce complete stationary electric power systems for the world-wide household and commercial markets.
